CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) PROTOCOL
The safety and well-being of our clients and staff continues to be the highest priority here at United Restoration Services, Inc. With ongoing concerns over the Coronavirus (COVID-19), we want to share the measures we are taking to safeguard the health of everyone involved in the work that you are entrusting us to complete for you.
For our client’s protection, we are requiring our workers to:
- Wear gloves at all times while on site
- Wear a facemask at all times
- Self-monitor their temperatures daily
- Stay home if they are experiencing any symptoms related to the coronavirus or cold/flu.
- Wait 2 weeks before returning to work if they leave the country for any reason.
Our Project Manager and/or Crew Chief on site will enforce these policies. Whether we are on-site or off-site, we will continue to use common sense practices and recommendations from the CDC such as regular handwashing, avoiding close contact with anyone who is sick, avoiding touching our eyes, nose, and mouth, covering coughs/sneezes, and etc.
We are requesting that all of our clients to either avoid the work-spaces, or wear a mask, whichever is practical based on the scope of work.
After work is complete, we will clean and apply a disinfectant to all horizontal surfaces. Special attention is to be paid to frequently contacted areas (door hardware, light switches, etc.) This cleaning is specific only to the areas in which work was performed by us, not the entire property. Cleaning will be carried out using anti-viral EPA approved “List-N” cleaning products.
All personal protective equipment being used by workers are also in accordance with government agency recommendations. We are following and constantly monitoring all recommendations from the CDC and the State of NY Health Department regarding preparedness and prevention and we will cooperate with all federal, state, and city directives regarding public safety.
